Dry Lips.
So, my package had came yesterday, can't be bothered to take pictures of it. I am happy with the umbrella, it has a hard frame and from the label is also UV resistant and waterproof. I didn't know there would be many eyelashes but I'm happy with the amount. I like the petticoat and the drawers and would definitely order from them again. The hat got kinda squashed and the wig was packed nicely. I had thought the umbrella would be small when I first saw the package but it expands a bit when I opened it.
Today, I went to
Metro Centre in Marrickville and it was a long time since I went there again. It was really embarassing when I was in K-Mart. I was in the cosmetics section and my mother going through the women's clothing section. She didn't realize where I was and ended up at the reception desk. As I was deciding to buy either the Outlast Lipcolour or the Outlast Lipstain (both from
Covergirl), I heard my name through the speakers, "Angela Mo, please proceed to the service desk. Your mother is looking for you." I was really embarrassed, I mean who wouldn't be, only little children should be called for when they were lost and I wasn't one.
I ended up buying the Lipstain because it was easier to apply as it came in a marker form and it wasn't shiny like the Lipcolour one. Plus the Lipstain was cheaper, it being $17.85 whereas the Lipcolour was $20 and something cents. What I found weird was that the topcoat itself costed about $19 without the colour stick when I saw it in a seperate package. I got the lipstain in 400,
Everlasting Bloom? as it was a pretty pink colour and because the other colours were ugh, especially nude. I thought nude would be more light than dark brown.
After that, I went to a Korean restaurant in Belmore to eat with my mother, her friend and her daughter. I had the spicy tofu soup which included rice, my mother had the one where there was a egg yolk in the middle with many vegetables surrounding it (
Bi-Bam-Bap, something like that), my mother's friend had marinated beef on a cooktop with rice and her daughter had cold noodles with spicy paste. It was delicious and came with about 6 sidedishes including Kimchi. My favourite was a potato made one which was very creamy and a bit sweet. The kimchi here tastes better than the one I had at Mi-Jak, a restaurant in Stratfield which had sour Kimchi. My mother's friend recommended a restaurant at Darling Harbour, '
Pancakes at Rocks'. My friend had also recommend me than place because she had been there. I have to eat there one day.
When we finished eating, we bid my mother's friend and her daughter goodbye. We retrieved our car from the parking lot and went straight back home. I then tried on the lipstain. After 20 minutes without moisturing my lips first, they felt really dry and I went to get some lip balm. The lip balm helped for some time and then my lips felt dry again. However the colour was long lasting and I liked it ~ I later removed it using a make up remover. I was afraid it wouldn't come off because I read some reviews and some people complaining that sometimes it would take the top skin of your lip to just remove the product. I was relieved when I remembered what I applied was a lipstain, not the
L'Oreal Infallible or the
Covergirl LipColour.
